Replaces the approved standard NF EN 292-2 dated December 1991 and its amendment dated June 1995.

Correspondence The European standard EN ISO 12100-2:2003 has the status of French standard. It reproduces in full the international standard ISO 12100-2:2003.

Analysis This standard is the second part of the standard NF EN ISO 12100. It determines technical principles and specifications likely to help engineering and design departments to incorporate safety for machines for professional and non-professional use. It may also be applied to other technical products which present similar dangerous phenomena.
